PDP blasts APC for dragging First Lady to ICC
The Peoples Democratic Party has
slammed the All Progressives Congress for
dragging the First Lady, Patience Jonathan
to the International Criminal Court, reports
Punch.
The party noted that there was no basis for
her to be reported to the international court
in the first place.
Femi Fani-Kayode, Director of Media and
Publicity of the party’s Presidential
Campaign Organisation, said the First Lady
will not appear before the court.
He described Patience as a woman of peace,
adding that her speech didn’t propel anyone
to take to violence.
Patience Jonathan was reported to have told
supporters of the PDP at a rally in Cross
River State to stone anyone canvassing for
change, which is the slogan of APC.
