APC RALLY IN LONDON

Muhammadu Buhari
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday boycotted the presidential rally organised by APC Diaspora Community in the United Kingdom (UK).
Party supporters across the UK who thronged the Everlasting Arms Ministries Church in East London, venue of the rally, were disappointed when Buhari did not turn up.
Lai Mohammed, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, who was part of the rally, said the event was not part of Buhari’s itinerary in the UK.
Allaying fears of Buhari’s ill health, Muhammed said since Buhari's arrival in the UK last Thursday, he has been meeting and consulting with political leaders.
He also said Buhari needed some rest after his energy-sapping nationwide campaign.
He assured party supporter that Buhari will attend the Chatham House event billed for Thursday, February 26.
